Gardening is peaceful and relaxing. This site is designed as a place for you to get away and view some beautiful flowers. Gardening provides a special feeling enjoyed only when digging in the dirt, planting, watching the lilies grow and enjoying their beauty.

This site will share my gardening experience by offering images, and information about my own garden. I will include pictures of the garden in bloom (shown on the right) along with images of individual blossoms. I'll include links to other gardening sites and a link to the home site of the American Hemorocalis Society.

Enjoy your stay while here and feel free to download any of these images. You can contact me using the link shown on the bottom of the page to let me know what you think!
A great thing about daylilies is that they are hardy! Especially the dormant variety. We spend one day in the spring to clean up from the winter and one day in the fall to prepare for winter.

Other than that these lovely blossoms appear year after year after year. We do water regularly and once a month we insert an inline feeder filled with Miracle Grow to the garden hose.

Unfortunately, southern gardeners are having to deal with RUST.  This is an affliction that creates wilted and browned fans (the leaves at the base of the plants).
